Valkorian character armor set for BioWare's Star Wars: The Old Republic (SWTOR).
Project Overview
As part of the Monetization Team on Star Wars: The Old Republic at BioWare, I worked as a contract Lead Character Artist, developing character armor sets from initial modeling through final in-game implementation. Working within a version-locked 3ds Max 2012 pipeline and BioWare’s proprietary engine, I owned the full character production process, including modeling, texturing, rigging, cloth simulation setup and integration, morph support, material authoring, and final game implementation.
Beyond character creation, I supported the broader production pipeline by resolving JIRA tasks across the MMO, including character deformation, skinning, and implementation fixes. I also worked with high-resolution cinematic assets from the LLM team to create optimized, game-ready versions for in-engine use. Due to the nature of production, I have limited visual documentation from my time on the project.
